For my interpretation of the theme, introspection, I chose to tell my story through the styles that reflect the most defining chapters of my life, as a way of expressing my personal identity, experiences, and values. Each look serves as a tribute to a unique aspect of who I am and where I came from. Born in the bold and flashy Y2K era, I wanted my first style to capture the creativity and energy of that time period. The second style is inspired by my Italian roots that embody my family's rich heritage, honoring the timeless and elegant fashion of the culture. I chose to honor my dad in my third look through his lifelong passion of racing, cultivating the excitement and thrill of the racetrack. As a passionate athlete throughout my childhood, I also wanted to create a look that balances both the sporty, yet feminine sides of my personality. Finally, my mom’s nickname for me, “shining star,” inspires me to always embrace my light and shine brightly.
